Department of organization and human resources originated from the earliest department of engineering economics founded in 1955 by Harbin Institute of Technology(HIT). Its predecessor was department of business administration of HIT, founded in 2015. Undertake the following degree grant work:bachelor of business administration, secondary discipline master of business administration, doctor of business administration. At present, courses are organized as follows: management, human resource management, production and operation management, organizational behavior, logistics and supply chain management, management communication, international business management courses and so on.

There are 15 teachers, including 6 professors, 8 associate professors, 1 lecturer; Among them, 5 are doctoral tutor, and 14 are master tutor. 10 teachers have doctorate degrees, accounting for 71%. Published 2 academic monographs, 2 translations, 2 textbooks, one of which is in 12th Five-Year planning materials of Ministry of education. “Management communication” was named as a national class for international students in 2014, and was formally launched in Chinese university MOOC, in May 2016.

In recent years, teachers in organization and human resources department bear nearly 30 national natural science fund, more than 100 national scientific and technological projects, national defense science and technology, provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects, accumulated research funding over 2000 million yuan. Published more than 200 academic papers, of which nearly 100 SCI, SSCI, EI, ISTP and other high-level academic papers. And set up a collaborative innovation center of technological change and industrial development, research center for community and business model innovation, promoting production and research cooperation.

Attaching importance to scientific research and serving the society is the tradition of our department. By strengthening cooperation with internationally renowned institutions and institutions, both can improve the level of teachers’ research, also broaden channels for cultivating students. At present, we have established close scientific research cooperation and academic exchanges with the United States, Canada, Britain, France, Australia, South Korea and other countries and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. At the same time, teachers focus on cooperation with enterprises, through business consulting, training and other forms, reflecting the function of serving the community.
